John Pickens

John Pickens, a native of Shreveport, is no stranger to fine men’s retail. He began his career at Rosenblath’s, located downtown, in 1989. In 1990, he began buying Oxxford Clothing for the store. In 1993, he was promoted to manager of Rosenblath’s. A year later, he bought into a partnership with Mr. Henry Goodrich. In 1996, they closed the downtown location and relocated to Azalea Drive. This increased their sales floor to 4000 square feet. In 2003, they closed the Rosenblath store. This provided an opportunity for John to open his own store.

In the fall of 2003, John Pickens Clothiers opened on Southfield, with one goal in mind: to bring quality, fine men’s clothing to Shreveport-Bossier. In 2005, John Pickens Clothiers expanded to its current location on Line Avenue.

John attends markets year round in Dallas, Las Vegas, and New York City, to stay abreast with the latest styles and trends. John Pickens Clothiers also provides custom, made-to-measure clothing. Even the hardest to fit will be satisfied with our unlimited styles, cloths, and colors.

In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his family.
